Reckless driving is driving without any care of speed signs, other drivers and pedestrians. Examples of reckless driving are speeding, the attempt to elude a police officer, swerving and violating basic safety laws.
Where is reckless driving most likely to occur?
Reckless driving can occur anywhere on the road. Whether that be a highway, freeway or in a neighborhood. Unfortunately, it is hard to avoid people who aren't following the rules of the road.

If you witness reckless driving, immediately contact your local police station. Try to remember the liscence plate.
When does most reckless driving occur?
Most reckless driving occurs at night. People usually drive dangerously when they are angry, tired, or thinking about things that happened during the day. Also, drinking and driving occurs more often at night.
Why is reckless driving such a hazard?
Reckless driving takes lives. If someone is driving recklessly, they are putting others at extreme risk. Too many people die per year due to accidents that could have been prevented.
